Flexible and Fanless EmbeddedPC-Systems
EmbeddedPC systems will replace industrial PC systems in many environments in future. In many cases smallest systems are required and also are very performant for decentralized tasks.
Janz Automationssysteme AG has experiences since many years in developing own EmbeddedPC systems which can be designed especially for customers' environments. Also performant systems, which can be installed with Windows XP and which offers expansion slots for PC/104 or PCI board, can be offered.
Available processors are actually AMD Élan SC520, Geode processors or VIA CPU. Other, more important for some environments, are Intel Celeron or Intel Pentium III & IV processors. Additionally, all systems offer the standard interfaces for USB, RS232 etc..
All systems come fanless and can operate with CompactFlash mediums, so that no rotating components are being installed. By that, a fully autarkic insert of the system in environments without service is possible.
