CAN/CANopen for PCIexpress with CAN-PCIeL

Janz Automationssysteme AG has increased its family of CAN interface boards with a new member.

CAN-PCIeL now provides a PCIexpress-based CAN interface  solution. With this interface board (and a miniPCI interface to follow soon) the breadth of support for different system architectures is increased, giving customers additional options for migrating to new system platforms.

One or two CAN/CANopen busses are supported, using the familiar SJA1000 CAN controller, but optionally available as opto-isolated ports.  CAN-PCIe is an intelligent device based on PowerPC 405 (also used in CAN-PCIH) - and an additional active interface for PCIexpress will follow soon.

Of course, support for all familiar operating systems like Windows XP/Vista, Windows CE and Linux are available, with other operating systems available on request.
