Janz Automationssysteme AG launches new branch in Mainz

The Janz Automationssysteme AG, located in Westphalian Paderborn, has just launched a new branch in Mainz.
According to Michael Rennerich, management of Janz Automationssysteme AG, this opening should lead to a better local presence in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “The customer’s requirements are increasingly complex and faster to realise. As part of our strategy to find service provider solutions and offer integration, we must even more approach to customers”, explains Rennrich.

For the new branch in Mainz, Mr. Joachim Nakat (picture) could be won over, who just after he graduated in computer engineering, joined the embedded market. After for years in the software engineering sector and technical support, he moved to the distribution. In the following 15 years, Mr. Nakat took several tasks of distribution at home and abroad at the company Eltec Elektonic and WindRiver Systems (former Integrated Systems). In the last four years he worked as a freelance consultant in the sector of embedded systems.

The Janz Automationssysteme AG is a platform provider for the automation of electronic systems. Customers are primarily machine- and equipment manufacturers from the most diversified fields and industries, such as packing machines, milling machines, machining centres, printing machines or even major medical devices.

“You don’t see us but we often are part of everyday life!” says Arnulf Lockmann, management of Janz AS, regularly, when he is being asked for the products and its fields of application.

On January 1, 2007, Michael Rennerich was appointed to the supervisory board of Janz Automation Systems AG by its executive committee. Rennerich, an Electronics Engineering graduate, has already been with Janz for 12 years and is presently responsible for Export Sales. Janz Automation Systems AG is one of the leading automation technology enterprises for machine and equipment design. At Janz, we are also well-positioned for future developments and changes, and already have new products in development which our customers will be using in the coming months", said newly-appointed Rennerich. Janz Automationssysteme AG presents with the new emVIEW series their own PanelPC-Systems at first time.
emVIEW is based on the well-known emPC-A400 and emPC-M systems. The display (optional with touchscreen) will attach on the emPC so the discharged use of the display of the emPC is also possible. Display dimensions will realize from  6.4“ up to 19“.
The units possess over one or two CAN/CANopen-Ports, so compatible machine communication represents no problems with other CAN-participants. As other interfaces are integrated upon other two 10/100 MBit/s Ethernet-Ports, USB and VGA/LVDS.
The units can operate with a 24/7 hard disk or optionally with a compact flash.
Also the operating system backup will be diversified: From Windows 2000/XP/Vista to Windows CE.net to the point of Linux and other operating systems everything possible.
