Janz expand emPC family with Atom processor Janz has expanded their embedded PC family with Intels new series of low power ATOM processors. The new emPC-M series controllers are powered by Intel Atom N270 processors at up to 1.6 GHz clockspeed. The emPC-MN270 can be used as a fanless system due to its low power consumption of max. 14 W. A preinstalled IEC 61131-3 Soft PLC system is also available, making the emPC-M series a high quality control solution. Janz is member of the CoDeSys Automation Alliance and hence is able to apply CoDeSys software with its options to any emPC system. |

Die Performance basiert auf den Intel Atom N270 Prozessor mit bis zu 1,6 GHz. Durch den Energieverbrauch von max. 14 Watt und die dadurch geringe Verlustleistung kann der emPC-MN270 als lüfterloses System problemlos eingesetzt werden. Eine IEC 61131-3 Soft PLC Lösung ist ebenfalls verfügbar und bietet somit die emPC-M Serie als hoch-qualitatives Control System. So lösen heute kleine und wartungsarme Embeddded-PCs die klassischen Industrie-PCs ab. Der Hersteller Janz bietet nun mit dem emPC-MN270 einen besonders platzsparenden Embedded-PC an, der ohne Lüfter auskommt. Er basiert auf dem 1,6-GHz-Intel-Atom-Prozessor N270 und benötigt maximal 14 Watt. Der emPC-MN270 unterstützt die Betriebssysteme Linux, Windows XP, XPembedded oder Windows CE 5.0/6.0. Als Control-System ist zudem eine Soft-PLC-Lösung nach IEC 61131-3 erhältlich. |
