Compact PC with ATOM technology |
Janz announces an addition to the well-known emPC systems: emPC-X1600 - an ATOM Z530-based, fanless controller system in very compact enclosure (10 x 10 cm base area).
“This controller system has been developed by Janz specifically for automation applications which need space-saving, reliable solutions,” says Michael Rennerich (Janz Automationssysteme AG Management). Currently, emPC-X1600 is one of the smallest available computer systems in its processor-power-class.

Janz offers complete integrated system solutions for 12 inch and 15 inch emVIEW systems (display and Panel PC). Other sizes are available on request.
The displays and Panel PCs from the emVIEW family can be built into Rittal Comfort-Panel and Optipanel system housings. The solutions are also suitable for support arm and base mounting.

Janz expand emPC family with ATOM Processor |
 Janz Automationssysteme AG has expanded their embedded PC family with Intel’s new series of low power ATOM Processors. The new emPC-M series controllers are powered by Intel Atom N270 Processors at up to 1.6 GHz clockspeed. The emPC-MN270 can be used as a fanless system due to its low power consumption of max. 14 W. A preinstalled IEC 61131-3 Soft PLC system is also available, making the emPC-M series a high quality control solution.
